A set of three soup plates in Chinese porcelain from the East India Company, 18th century, known as the King John VI Service or the Peacock Service. Decorated with rich famille rose enamels, the center features a landscape with rocks, peacocks, and peonies, and the rim has a frieze of plant motifs. Qianlong reign (1736–1795).
